In 1997, Ben Ward, Richie Webb and I took over from the legendary Trev and Simon as resident comedians on 'Live & Kicking', BBC 1's flagship Saturday morning show for children and hungover adults.

Since then, I've been lucky enough to write on many amazing live-action shows including: six series of the multi-award-winning 'Horrible Histories'; smash-hit Saturday morning show 'SMTV Live' with Ant and Dec and Cat Deeley; many episodes of 'Justin's House', 'Gigglebiz' and 'Gigglequiz' with CBeebies icon Justin Fletcher; plus several long-running comedies such as 'My Parents Are Aliens', 'Kerching', 'The Slammer', 'Young Dracula' and '4 O'Clock Club'.

I've also written a shed-load of episodes for many fabulous pre-school animations, including 'Bing', 'PJ Masks', 'JoJo and Gran-Gran', 'Mike The Knight', 'Ricky Zoom', 'Postman Pat - SDS', 'Noddy, Toyland Detective', 'School of Roars' and, most recently, 'Supertato'.

Most recently, I have been lead writer on the legendary 'Balamory', working across all 20 episodes of the brand new series, to air on CBeebies in 2026.
